It is a single-use Mana container; when thrown into a Mana Pool that contains any amount of Mana, it is consumed and generates 8000 Mana. just grind vanilla flowers (from bonemeal) with the pestle and mortar for floral powder and then craft floral fertiliser until you have one flower of every color. An alfsteel ingot needs 4 pools worth of mana to make, so don't try to generate that as you go.
